The Opportunity
We’re looking for a strategic, systems-minded operator to drive one of our most critical initiatives: optimizing our Employer of Record (EOR) and payroll systems across the 180+ countries where we operate. This is your chance to help define the operational foundation of a truly global HR platform and ensure that our payroll and payment execution remains world-class in every market we function in.
Role And Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence and own end-to-end payroll and payments processes in all countries, improving efficiency, accuracy, and reporting across multiple regions.
- Build and execute the roadmap to strengthen operational frameworks, legal compliance, and payment systems, ensuring we can operate directly, reliably, and compliantly everywhere
- Identify opportunities to improve our technology stack, processes, and cross-functional workflows, creating a scalable, resilient payments machine.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure market readiness, operational quality, and seamless customer experiences.
- Engage with vendors and partners where needed to enhance local payroll, banking, and benefits systems, all while maintaining strict adherence to local laws and regulations.

- Payroll and payments operate flawlessly in every country we serve.
- Internal systems, processes, and tools are continuously optimized for scalability and resilience.
- Cross-functional projects deliver measurable operational improvements.
- Reliance on third-party solutions is minimized wherever feasible, while strategic partnerships are leveraged effectively.
Great Candidates Will Have
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance, operations, legal/compliance, or HR at a high-growth, global company.
- Strong systems-thinking and comfort operating in ambiguity: you’re energized by building frameworks from the ground up.
- Expertise in payments, ideally in a cross-border context.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Experience with international compliance frameworks, vendor management, or EOR operations is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- A deep sense of ownership: you care about the impact, quality, and scalability of your work.
