The Opportunity
We’re seeking a meticulous Operations Analyst to support our Payment Operations team. As we scale, data accuracy is the foundation of our ability to pay employees and manage compliance globally.
In this role, you will be the "first line of defense" for data integrity. You will assist our Payments team by manually reconciling and migrating complex payroll and benefits data across our systems, ensuring the accuracy of information that ultimately powers our internal platforms. This is a hands-on role for someone who is tech-savvy, thrives in Google Workspace, and understands that the smallest detail can have a significant impact on financial accuracy.
What You’ll Own
- Data Migration & Entry: Perform high-volume, manual data entry, transferring information between payroll/benefit providers, our internal financial systems, and Google Sheets.
- Validation & Reconciliation: Verify data points against source documents to ensure 100% accuracy before and after entry.
- Workflow Support: Assist the Payroll Team in preparing, formatting, and cleaning datasets.
- Anomaly Reporting: Proactively flag discrepancies, missing information, or patterns that appear inconsistent, helping our team identify potential process errors early.
- Collaborative Documentation: Maintain clean, organized logs of your data entries and any issues encountered, facilitating a smooth handoff for our automation phase.
What We’re Looking For
- Technology Proficiency: You are a Google Workspace power user (specifically Sheets). You can navigate complex workbooks, use formatting tools efficiently, and handle large datasets.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: You have an "eye for the error." You naturally catch typos, misalignments, or missing fields that others might overlook.
- Operational Stamina: This project may require intense periods of work during specific high-volume intervals; you are comfortable working up to 10 hours a day when business needs demand it.
- Analytical Mindset: You understand that you are validating critical financial information. You take ownership of the quality of your output.
